First, I want to say that these requirements or standarized tests are not given in PR, so i did not know none of these issues until now. Being my high school inside a military base, i did take standarized tests, but still not those that florida is requiring. Also, I dont agree either with the act because its true what they say about how kids that are being passed when they really shouldnt be passed. This what brings is problems with kids in the streets and to society itself. Like, the dood in the first video said, kids take their passing grades to there parents knowing that they really didnt accomplish anything. Therefore, this does not give them any potential to try hard and actually acheive something because no child will be left behind. Furthermore, they will drop school because its worthless, and make their way of life happen in the streets. This could be a definate reason why there is so many students within that drug environment. On the other hand, if they were forced to study and pass classes due to effort and grades, they are psychologically working for something, therefore thinking about goals in life they can complete. So there are some advantages, disadvantages, misconceptions, and misunderstandings with this act that tthe government must understand and take a look at it and analyze the situation.
